Problem:

A northern Illinois based casino gaming manufacturer needed a solution for their new design concept featuring a 55" interactive display panel. each unit included multi-pivot arms that needed to lower the screen in a slow movement, and the screen needed to be removable. The 100lb screen required 2 service people to not only prevent it from slamming down when unlatched, but also to push the panel back up to the locked position. This would definitely be a safety concern when servicing the units in the field.

Solution:

A combination of stock IGS gas springs and dampers provided a safe solution. The IGS technical sales team arrived at the final product using their expertise, training, and proprietary design assistance software, even providing valuable information upfront--such as the actual hand forces required to operate the panel.
