Dampers products are compact, self-contained hydraulic elements that can control the (linear) velocity of moving objects in one of both directions of travel.

Often paired with springs, dampers are commonly used to control the opening or closing speeds of lids, doors, covers, or any other object that is needed to move more slowly in a certain direction. For example, dampers can be deployed for slam prevention and speed control of extending springs (such as latch mechanisms) or the motion of heavy panels such as machinery maintenance covers.
